Founder and developer

Graydon Stallard, DO, FACOS, FACS is Board Certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, with clinical expertise in general surgery, trauma, and acute care surgery. He serves as the Director of Medical Education at CaroMont Regional Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at VCOM, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

In his educational and clinical roles, Dr. Stallard has worked closely with physician assistant students, RNFA students, nurse practitioner students, medical students, residents, and other learners as they participate in surgical cases and develop their clinical documentation skills. Through that experience, he recognized a common challenge: learners often struggle to find the correct CPT codes for cases they have scrubbed or participated in, especially when trying to complete required case logs.

Dr. Stallard created Free CPT Code Finder.com to help address that gap. The site was designed as an educational CPT code lookup and coding resource for students, residents, APPs, RNFAs, coders, and clinicians who need a practical way to find CPT codes while also learning the basics of surgical billing and documentation.
